Effective July 1, 2025, your pharmacy will be able to choose whether to participate in the Caremark Cost Saver program*. If you take no action, your pharmacy will be removed from the Caremark Cost Saver program. Should your pharmacy wish to continue to participate in the Caremark Cost Saver program after July 1st, you must opt in to the Caremark Cost Saver program. By opting into the Integrated Benefit Offering, CVS Caremark and other PBMs may forward any claim submitted to the PBM for the purposes of processing as a consumer card claim using consumer card claim networks instead of the PBM's commercial claim network. Pharmacies that take no action will be removed from Caremark Cost Saver. The effect of removal will be that claims will process only on Caremark networks and will not be forwarded for consumer card claim processing. Pharmacies will not experience any out-of-network rejections as a result of this change but member cost share amounts may be higher than if the pharmacy participated in Caremark Cost Saver.
